Dedalo Montali Museum of Contemporary Art
The Dedalo Montali Museum of Contemporary Art and Religion is an entirely new and unique museum in the field of local and national art. The headquarters is based in the Church of the Immaculate Conception’s main halls and the Residence: two sites, both offering a unique presentation of paintings and sculptures. Taja Satta Montali with the help of Can. Mario Battaglini, collected and exhibited the works in memory of her husband, Dedalo Montali. Included in the collection are works of Montale (Born: Cagliari July 10, 1909 – Died: Rodello, February 13, 2001), divided into chronological and thematic periods from the pre-war period up to the end of the century. The exhibition reflects not only his work as a painter, sculptor and poet, but also his remarkable personality and impact on 20th century culture.
